How Do I Find Dates of Upcoming Events?

When I first began my business, I found a lot of other psychics had a big problem with telling when a future event would happen. They might be able to predict the year, maybe even a season, but not get even close to a specific date. That just didn't seem good enough for me.

So, I created my own method of finding dates of future events psychically. Many of you who have come to see me in person have watched me use this method over and over.

First, I start with a question. Perhaps the question from my client is, "I have my house on the market, when will it sell?" With this, I will often write down the specific address of the house, and my client's question on the sketch pad in front of me. Then, below that I'll write the year. Just below that, I'll begin writing the first letter of each month in order, keeping the question in my head the whole time. I'm gently looking for a change in feel regarding the question and watching my pen and writing for any changes.

So, my sketch pad might look like this:
Shane Smith has his house at 409 Adams St.,
Cambridge, Iowa on the market.
When will it sell?

When I get to, in this case, writing A for the month of August and something won't let me write S for September, I know I've gotten close to finding my target date. Just in case I overshot my month...I'll go back several months from the one that I got stopped at and move forward again, this time week by week.

In my example above as I slowly wrote down the numbers for the weeks of each month, again I held the question in my head and was looking for any kind of feeling of change. Something in this case stopped me as I wrote the 3 for the third week of July of 2010. I just couldn't write the 4 for the 4th week. Again, this tells me I'm getting closer and now I can go back to the first of July and actually go day by day.

Even though I was stopped at the third week of July of 2010, I still wanted to make sure I hadn't overshot my mark again, so I went back and began writing the days from the first of July. When I reached July 23, 2010....my pen literally trailed off and something wouldn't let me write the 24th. I usually repeat this day by day part again to make sure I get the same reaction a second or even third time. As I did this confirmation, I received the same answer, that Shane's house would sell on or about July 23, 2010. Over the years I've found that this can get me within about 48 hours of an event, so I often tell folks to look 2 days before to two days after whatever date I give them. Thus, I told Shane to look for the house to have an offer put on it that will be accepted between July 21 and 25, 2010.

Psychic Feedback

It's always really wonderful and VERY helpful when clients call or write back to provide me with feedback about my accuracy as a clairvoyant or a medical intuitive. Just like any other profession, when your job description is "psychic" you can improve faster and increase accuracy with input from those you work for or with.

This is why I encourage my students to keep a journal from the very beginning of their psychic journeying. If you make notes of perceptions that come to you from beyond five senses, later when (if) the feedback comes your way, you can look back and check the accuracy of your work.

Folks often ask me about accuracy in this kind of work. Honestly, it's really hard to measure or gauge....kind of like grading an essay test. Do most folks give me really high marks...yes. I tell my clients up front that I just won't ever be 100% accurate. I don't know anyone who can make that claim in any profession. However, I do believe that if you find a clairvoyant or medical intuitive or psychic that gives you a strong, consistent 80% plus accuracy for details most of the time, then stick with that individual, you've found someone who has a decent handle on their own skills.

So, keep the feedback coming....to me, to yourself if you are working on honing your own skills. Practice with as much feedback as you can get makes for a more skilled psychic!

Improving Your Psychic Skills

A couple of gals came over to visit last night to chat about how to develop their psychic skills. I sat down with them and went over the main points of how to begin. Here's the quick summary:

1) Practice dropping into a meditative or trance state for 20 minutes every day.
Try a variety of different methods to find the one that works best for you.
2) Keep a psychic journal of your waking and dreaming psychic moments.
3) Make the place you do your intuitive or psychic work as clean and clutter free as possible.
If need be, remove things from the area to make it "Buddhist spartan."
Turn off as many electrical devices as possible to reduce the artificial vibration and make the room quiet.
4) Practice daily reaching out for answers to questions you pose and allowing your intuition to provide you with the response.
5) The Universe will most likely connect with you strongest in the same manner as which you learned best in school....visually, auditorily, kinesthetically, or spatially.
If you learned best by seeing, you will probably most easily perceive psi input as pictures or images.
If you are an auditory learner, you will mostly likely hear your answers, etc.
6) Try out all the different sorts of psychic tools, from i-ching to rune stones to tarot cards to see if any of these work well for you. Practice using them as a leaping off place to explore your own intuitive connections.
7) Increase your awareness of synchronous events as this is often a way that the Universe communicates important information to you.
8) Be aware that as you open up to the Universe with your multi-sensory awareness, you will naturally perceive "positive" as well as the "negative" information and both ends of the Spiritual spectrum as well. For this reason, I highly recommend for the beginning psychic student to
remove things from your life, home and work place that are extremely negative (horror movies, scary books, etc.)
9) Remember, when receiving psychic impressions, take the first response you get and don't edit it or add your own personal issues to it.
Try to describe the response or input with as much detail and as matter of factly as possible without adding to it or removing anything from it.
10) Work on your skills when you aren't angry, or afraid or having huge stress issues about things.
Don't try pulling information from the Universe about you or your family or close loved ones...know you already have a history and bias about them that does and will skew your perceptions.
