When Klingons Attack

I'm sure many folks will read the title above and think that I'm going to write today about character's out of the series, Star Trek. So sorry, but I'm going to disappoint you if that's your expectation.

No, what I really wanted to chat with you about today is the concept of getting rid of little bits of memory, other people's energy, and big or little stuff that clings on to you and builds up over time. I call these little "hanger-on-ers" Klingons.

How do you know if you have Klingons? (Wow, I make that sound like it's some sort of social disease, yikes) Well, honestly it's difficult to spot them on your own. The best description I can give you is if you find that some place, some thing, some one caused a negative shift in you and it just won't go away. I know that's pretty vague so perhaps some examples are in order here.

Let's say you have a fairly decent amount of empathic skill...that you easily pick up on the energy and emotions of people, places or things. Let's also say that I introduce you to Bob Smith. Right away you notice that Bob is on the unusual side...he doesn't look you in the eye easily but when he does he stares hard. He can't sit still and is figeting constantly. You ask him one simple question and it set's him off. He gets up and paces in circles trying to figure out, while talking out loud to himself, how to respond to your query of, "How are you?" After being in the room with Bob for less than 10 minutes, you begin to feel drained, like it's suddenly been a very long day and you've had to emotionally put up with a whole lot!

You excuse yourself from Bob and head to your car, but still can't shake the drained feeling. Even after you drive across town and finally get home, make yourself a cup of tea, and put your feet up...you just haven't bounced back. You've unknowingly picked up a Klingon. Most of us have been there, recognize the scenario, and now have a name for it.

What have you actually picked up? What happened with Bob? Wow, great question. With his actions, Bob didn't appear to actually TRY to toss anything negative your way. It's not like he attempted to purposefully send any negative influence your way....he just had his own issues. However, there is another strong possibility.

You entrained to Bob's energy.

What's entrained? Well...we human beings attempt to adapt to our environments. If, say I put you in a rock concert near the speakers and the beat of the music is going at 140 beats per minute...guess what your heart attempts to do. That's right, it picks up speed and tries to mimic that same 140 beats. If I put you in an environment where the music is 60 beats per minute your heart slows down. It entrains to or attempts to match it's environment.

The same sort of thing happens when I take you from in doors to outdoors. Inside, most of us are surrounded by 60 hertz (the frequency of our electric appliances and wall sockets.) Outdoors...well Mom Nature's natural frequency is about 3.7 hertz. Do most of us slow down and calm down better out of doors than in...yep! That's because we naturally entrain to the slower 3.7 hertz.

So, back to our example...in Bob's presence, you entrained to his "buzziness." You picked up on Bob's agitated frequency, naturally entrained to it without realizing you did it, and carried that frequency home with you. It clung on to you...thus....a Klingon.

What do you do about Klingons? That's tomorrow's blog. Stay tuned.

Swine Flu Vacinations linked to Nerve Disease

As a psychic and medical intuitive, honestly, I'd been waiting for the scary news about severe and life threatening reactions to the swine flu vaccine to pop up for about 2 weeks.

When I read this week that the Health Protection Agency in the United Kingdom alerted over 600 neurologists there about a deadly reaction to the swine flu vaccine, I was not surprised! The HPA warned neurologists that a disease called Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) seemed to be triggered by administration of the injection.

GBS attacks the protective sheath that covers the nerves. It begins with weakness, often in the extremities about three weeks after exposure and spreads, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.

Just a couple of weeks prior, our own public health system was encouraging parents to have all infants and children get the swine flu vaccination! As a medical intuitive, I had an immediate negative reaction to that recommendation, and my body instantly shuddered in fear as I read. I recall scanning the article over my morning coffee. Suddenly I put the cup down on my desk with a thunk, and vehemently said out loud, "No...NO!" I remember thinking that the vaccine could and would have terrible consequences for infants and small children and affect many for the rest of their lives. It was so pronounced a premonition that I copied and pasted the article to my daughter who has an 8 month old and encouraged her to NOT get the shot for my grandbaby.

For those who are do not know, the signs and symptoms of Guillain-Barre syndrome may include:

* Prickling, "pins and needles" sensations in your fingers, toes or both
* Weakness or tingling sensations in your legs that spread to your upper body
* Unsteady walking or inability to walk
* Difficulty with eye movement, facial movement, speaking, chewing or swallowing
* Severe pain in your lower back
* Difficulty with bladder control or intestinal functions
* Very slow heart rate or low blood pressure
* Difficulty breathing

Most people with Guillain-Barre syndrome experience their most significant weakness within three weeks after symptoms begin. In some cases, signs and symptoms may progress very rapidly with complete paralysis of legs, arms and breathing muscles over the course of a few hours.

Can you imagine being the mother or father of an infant and seeing these symptoms develop in your infant or small child, who can't tell you what's going on?! The thought would terrify any parent!

I'm not a physician. I can't tell you to get the vaccination or not get it...but I DO want folks to do their reading and research before hand so that they know exactly what they are getting into!

What I am saying is that this particular psychic has a very bad feeling about the swine flu vaccine, and the worse is yet to come.

Intuitive vs. Psychic

Lots of folks ask the difference, if there is one, between being intuitive and being psychic.

I guess I've created my own distinction here. I consider intuition as reactive, and psychic skill as proactive. Let me see if I can explain in more detail.

If we're talking about a multi-sensory awareness that you are born with, that just happens to you randomly, that you react to but it's not under your control, that's what I call intuitive. An example would be if a Jane Smith is home doing the dishes and suddenly realizes in the middle of scrubbing the last pot that her elementary schooler has just fallen down on the playground, skinned both knees and is in the nurse's office about ready to call her on the phone. While technically this would be classified as a detailed "sudden knowing" experience, because it's not under Jane's control, I would consider Jane highly intuitive.

If Jane Smith had been doing the dishes and purposefully, standing there with sudsy hands, actively been checking on family members using her clairvoyant remote viewing ability, then I would term Jane psychic. She consciously wanted information and pro-actively used her multi-sensory abilities to reach out and purposefully bring back the information she needed.

Can you be born either intuitive or psychic....technically, according to the above definition, sure you can. Just depends on if you have a handle on your skills or not and consciously know that your ability is under your own control.

Do I as a professional psychic have intuitive moments throughout the day. Of course! It's often the intuitive flashes that prompt me to pro-actively use my psychic skills to gather more detail. For me the two go hand in hand and I'm very glad for both!

Courses

I love to teach just about anything along the psychic skill development line. It's a really FUN thing to see students connect with their own abilities that go beyond five senses. I've had several calls this month asking when the next classes will be held, and at least one call to be a keynote speaker at a conference.

I have some favorite courses that I've developed over the years. Here are my top five:

1) Improving Intuition Intensive -- an all day course designed to give you just about everything you need to take your intuitive abilities from reactive to proactive. When are you most intuitive, how does information come to you, how can you improve your current skill set. We run everyone in the class through their paces letting them have a go at clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, remote viewing, and even deep trace work. This is a beginner to intermediate course.

2) Whisperings from the Mother -- a 2 hour outdoor seminar designed to help you greatly expand your current receptivity and begin to truly understand the messages that come to us from nature. In this course, we boost your own antennae and help you learn to listen to and comprehend the messages coming on the wind, from the trees, and from all of nature itself. This is an intermediate to advanced course.

3) Deep Trance Oracle Work -- a 2 hour seminar based on an old Buddhist exercise that moves students from regular everyday waking state to deep trance state in under 10 minutes. We take you down to what I refer to as a "being of light" state, where your own consciousness is so connected that you literally become an oracle. This is an intermediate to advanced course.

4) Psychic Hide and Seek -- a 2 hour seminar which can be taught indoors or out, depending on the size of the group and the available area. The first half of the course we talking about "pinging," or finding another person when you want or need to psychically. We also discuss "cloaking," or how to not be spotted when you don't want to be seen. The second half, you are assigned a person to go find and turned loose to practice and see if you can hide AND seek psychically at the same time! This is an intermediate to advanced course.

5) Emergency Mojo 911 -- Two or more 3 hour seminars that provide intermediate and advanced students of energy projection with techniques to draw power through them in a stronger, more potent way than they've every done before. In the first 3 hours we begin by sitting, then standing, and finally moving forward and backward maintaining a connection with a greater and greater concentration of energy. Students then learn to mold and shape this energy as well as infuse it with various properties. In the second 3 hours, the goal is to take that energy and be able to toss it at another person in a strong enough way that the partner can describe it's properties. Finally, students attempt to draw up and throw enough energy to be able to force their opponents to move, sit in a chair or stay rooted to a specific location.
